Ok so i really appreciate this justification of ny nerves. Because the scream always scared me growing up!! And when i was younger, I was playing a version of this at a church with some old people present, and turned it down so that way nobody would be scared by it. And I feel like everyone thought i was being over dramatic and weird, but its really freaking terrifying when you dont know whats coming.
Newt Scamander?
Just imagine if they were playing Hayden’s 94th Symphony instead….
Even the camera got scared.
I mean to be fair, it even made the camera jiggle
I just really want to know what it must’ve sounded like being in there.
The sound quality isn't great, but that moment is supposed to be thunderous and scary.... Stravinsky was a crazy man, his music is filled with rage and passion.
👏👏👏❤❤
So well executed! "The Scream" was awesome!! Compliments to the conductor!! He lead them well. Does anyone know his name?
Am I the only one annoyed with the scream? It's like she had to turn the attention on her. Lady, get a clue.
So you're saying the person screaming faked it?
Also, did even the musicians jump a bit? XD or just as they "jumped" on their instrument; but the camera did a weird glitch too from that drum pressure xD
Honestly I would have jump-screamed as well awake 😂
Her scream turns me on!
Happened to me at the opera.😱
Someone quickly trying to shush the moment and then everyone bursts in laughter! 😂
I really feel for her. I hope she had a panty pad on! 🥴
Bro yelped a little bit at that 😂😂😂😂😂
Is there the full record of this concert anywhere?
I lost it. Fantastic.
Utterly fantastic!
aka Never fall asleep at a concert
I love it. This is a great video, it always makes me smile.
Sound like lego game
what movement or section was this in?
That horn after the scream was one of the best performed!
i'm playing baba yaga by mussorgsky in my school orchestra right now and there's a very similar moment to this in the piece. my assistant director showed us this clip and said that he wants us to play so aggressively on the downbeat that an audience member screams like the woman in this clip. (my classmates and i were crying with laughter)
I have layer in symphonic band and really disliked the “surprise” note drop. This is funny, nonetheless….
This reminds me of Brooklyn 99 “Oh yes I remember you, you were escorted out for gasping too loud”
That cellist on the very far left just keeps playing like it's an everyday occurrence xD
True story: my grandpa had a projector screen that took up one entire wall and we watched Fantasia 2000 when I was five. I never left a room so fast than that dreaded FFF! I would cover my ears and hold my breath in advance my startle response was something else! 😂
Most of them were scared!
Dudes what’s the song???
Wonderful performance of my work. Btw, I kindly invite you to check my latest 3-million dollar music video: Petrushka Underwater. It's on my channel
Was that woodwind😮
Conductor looks like newt scamander
👌🤣
Someone had a serious eargasm
Have you noticed the two viola players who really lose it? One of them at the back bends her head deep down, and the lady in front of her covers her forehead, her bow high in the air. 🤣
I love that one audience member’s jump scream when the loud part came up! Classical music is incredible!
That woman sounded horny af 😂😂😂
When I’m in a bad mood, and just physically need a good laugh, I just watched this video, and it never fails to make me crack up till I can hardly breathe.
To be fair, I reacted the same way when I first heard this (in Fantasia 2000). Almost gave me a heart attack. Definitely understandable the way it just lulls you in, almost serene and peaceful-like, and then it goes all Emeril Legasse.
Everyone in this comment section is a bunch of nerds.
I want this but with the 1st movement of Tchaikovskys 6th symphony. Always gives me a scare even though I know it’s coming.
Mom?!
Love, love, love this! I've watched it many times and it always bring a smile to my face - especially when the conductor takes a look back at the audience.
Martin Short conducts?
If you look closely, they were actually laughing at the violas.
Who the hell hears firebird for the first time live like that? The nerve of these people.
